FAQ

What is the attire?

Come comfy or dress to impress. All we ask is that you dress to respect our venue (a church).

Is this a kid-friendly event?

Kids are welcome, but should be able to sit through a 1.5-2 hour presentation (films and speakers) quietly. Also please know that while nothing will be graphic, abortion is a strong topic of the night.

Do I need to arrive at 5:30 if it doesn't start until 6:00?

You will need time to park, use the restroom, possibly wait in line, and get your event bag before finding your seat. The show starts at 6:00pm sharp with a performance you won't want to miss!

Does it cost to get in?

Bridging the Gap is free to the public. We will ask attendees to consider a donation to the Pregnancy Care Center. There will also be a market of local makers and food truck/cafe where you can purchase items if you wish.

Will there be food?

Yes! After the presentation ends around 7:30, we will have a whole market set up. Available for purchase: the coffee bar will have coffees, teas, smoothies and snacks; Kalacrow Pizza will have a menu of pizzas; vendors will have charcuterie boxes, cinnamon rolls, cookies, cake, breads and more.

Can I come to the presentation but not the Meet & Greet Market?

Staying for the Meet & Greet market is optional. We do hope our community will support our local makers (including some young entrepreneurs), and stick around to meet the speaker, film maker, and cast. We have a very special market planned for you!

Why does the Facebook event show 5:30 AM and not 5:30 PM?

Your guess is as good as ours. Unfortunately, we have not been able to get this corrected, even after reaching out to FB. We are assuming a time zone issue, but everything on our end is correct. We decided it's more important to keep it listed on FB and hope everyone sees our posts about the correct time, which is 5:30 PM.

Is this event for pro-life supporters only?

While this is a pro-life event at its core, we do hope that those who consider themselves pro-choice or maybe don't have a particular stance on the matter, will attend to hear the testimonies of those who've had and/or performed abortions. This event is for all who will listen. Our presentation will be kind and gracious, and all attendees are expected to do the same. We will have security on site, but don't expect any issues.

Is this event being put on by the Pregnancy Care Center?

No. This event was created and will be hosted by local citizens who saw a need and want to use their talents and resources to help share the truth through personal experiences with abortion. Because of the extensive services offered by the PCC to help pregnant women in need as well as their partners, we wanted to use this event as a way to give back. None of the filmmakers, singers, dancers, or event organizers are profiting from this event.
